    Thanks @Badbear, it was written by Juan Arteaga and published on the Commercial Suicide anthology back in 2004 (edited by Kieron Gillen and Alex de Campi)... You can read it online, people scanned it and it's been making the rounds for years now, haha

    In 1955, legendary test pilot Tex Johnson demonstrated the new Boeing 707 passenger jet at a major air show in Seattle. This is the one and only time anyone has ever performed a barrel roll in a passenger jet (shitty quality because it's an old film from 1955).

    It's a damned shame the original film is so degraded. Tex's barrel roll is still famous today amongst aircraft engineers, and I'll wager a large percentage of them have a copy of that photo on the wall.
