    Oh! Shit! Yes!

It will focus on Emily Aster's choice to sell off parts of herself for power.

There's an ad on Gillen's website and a write up.

    Fucking stoked.

Still one of those books I need to read. Certainly sounds interesting, though.

    That is awesome news.

I'm actually going to have to set foot in a comics shop again for this. I just don't know which one will be most convenient come November...

This will join Atomic Robo, Hellboy, and Casanova as floppies that I will happily buy.

Ok, possibly an over reaction but was only recently introduced to these and have bought own copies... They are everything that I would have loved in a comic when I fell out of love with most of them last century... Could wax lyrical etc but won't 'cause its not very LPG to (whispers) squee.... (love opening something and recognising places though!)

PS not the only things I've been lent to read, etc!

This must be bought as singles. If they do anything like the backup strips they had alongside 'The Singles Club' then it's a must.

Statements like the above make some of us who weren't around *very* *VERY* curious...

...and a bit... (sound of toe tapping impatiently)

... until people share what its referring to

    Please (blink)...

I'm referring to the back-up story where they go to the ska gig...

This makes me happier and more excited about comics than anything DC or Marvel could ever say. My only (tiny tiny) complaint is why must we wait until November for it! I wants it naoooow!

not just about PHONO, but everything going on at Image right now: FUCK FUCKING YES

im glad to see the creators i want to throw my money at working on actual, honest-to-goodness good comics. i know people gotta pay the bills, and reality is inherently terrible, but i just dont care about any* of these folks corporate work anymore. im glad they have cool day jobs and all, but THIS is where the good is.

    *well, almost any. whatever.

I did a pretty serious happy dance when I found out. I am so very excited. A reason to actually buy comics! I just need to find a shop (or somewhere online?) to get them through. Yaaaay!

Here's one of the B-Side stories from last time round, on the webpage of the artist in question, Mr. Marc Ellerby:
