    Long story short, a friend of mine, upon hearing my negative opinion of the Twilight series, asked me if I'd even read it, to which I replied no. He then challenged me to read it so that I could then bash it from an educated perspective and I grudgingly admitted he might have a point. Another friend of mine then challenged me to read the entire series in the month of March.

    Funny you should mention this: One of my friends bet me $20 that I couldn't finish Twilight.

    She won. Oh, it is bad.

    I just finished it last night. I drank half a bottle of whiskey during the entire process. It didn't numb the pain.

    Now on to the next book.

    I read all the books on my kindle...so people wouldn't know.
    ANd yeh. It gets bad. Not just the writing gets squicky!

    A couple years ago I read the first twenty or so pages of Twilight while on the crapper, as my sister had a copy sitting atop it.

    My brain cells are still recovering.

    Imagine how I feel 160 pages into the third book?

    God this stuff is horrible.
