SO!

I am now safely within the arms of the borough of Kings, and so all sorts of Chaplain meetups are more than welcome.

Suggestions involving my other perambulations where I'm going no matter what:
- Wed. at Botanica (on E. Houston between Mulberry and Mott), which marks the beginning of Mr. Fine Wine's 17th year of playing soul 45's at said bar. Free entry. It should be good times.
- Thu. at Saint Vitus Bar to headbang to various death metal bands including the ensemble of our dorkmuffin's beau. Four bands, ten bucks! Good times here too!

I am -- however -- reminded of mssr. Ancrebarbe and his arrival into Manhattan on the night between Friday and Saturday, and perhaps (despite the meager hours he has until he has to depart for The Frozen North) this might be an opportunity for a strange meeting as well?

Apart from said events, I shall get myself one of them prepaids tomorrow and post the number here and elsewhere for assuming direct control of events.

That said, Dysrhythmia is playing and I think they're a little more accessible (not really death metal, more jazzy and rock-oriented, but definitely still metal). Cleric, the band from Philly that's also playing, is wonky and trippy and strange. I know ... nothing about Torrential Downpour. I've just been informed that they sound kind of like Cleric but are more accessible?

Dysrhythmia and Pyrrhon are probably the most catchy of the bunch, and Pyrrhon is definitely more death metal than the other acts. Dysrhythmia is made up of um, half of the band Gorguts hahaha.
