    @Jason A. Quest: I'm glad someone went with the "horny" aspect of centaurs. Seriously, if you look up the mythology, ooh boy were they something special. (Probably inherited from Zeus/Jupiter.) In fact, Heracles ultimately died because of a horny centaur. Anyway, very amusing.

    When I say piss-takes, I mean comedic effect one-shots. The pseudo Lois Lane bit. The Midnight Cowboy and the other two were fun and well-done, but DBed's is the only entry that I could see as a real character in an ongoing series.

    Agreed that @Dbed is as polished as always, I would hate to see any level of artist discouraged from posting here, is where my objection of your statement came from. Fun is why we're here.

    I think this is two nations divided by a common language. Piss-take does mean a joke, in the British English vernacular, and that was how I read johnjones comment, that the other images were humorous approaches to the theme. It didn't come across as a slight on anyone's work.

    @ dnewling - The glowy bits are made on a separate layer (I use GIMP but this also applies to Photoshop) on top of all other layers and set it to "screen" then I color away with an airbrush tool. Hope that was helpful.

    Great job Paul, I did not see that one coming! Damn good horse anatomy too, I should have taken the time to grab better reference for mine, it came out a little lumpy. Really like the subtle paper texture as well.

    There's a joke in nearly everything I do. Absolutely in every remake/remodel. But I put some serious thought behind them all too, or I don't bother. (Even when I had a r/r deleted by Warren as "half-arsed bollocks", I'd done it in a slapdash fashion for a reason.) I'm not offended if someone only sees the humor... but the rest is there too.

    Anyway...

    I think that the only possible way to improve on Sizer's contribution would be to spin him around into That Pose. :)
