I'm just an onlooker in these challenges but i enjoy seeing what people come up with, all the different interpretations and styles. I have particularly enjoyed the Fast Fiction challenge, the story being an extra little treat. Alternating the Fast Fiction Illustration Challenge with the Remake Remodel Challenge would be a damn fine idea if you ask me, it would still be a good 'un if you didn't, so go on, Young Master Spurrier, give it a go!

@Fred G: You have a point about the title needing to make it clearer that this is an artistic challenge. How about:

    Fast Fiction Art Challenge
    Fast Fiction Artists Challenge
    Spot Art Challenge
    Spot Illustrator Challenge
    Spot Art for Fast Fiction
    Illustrate My Fast Fiction!
    Spot Art My Fast Fiction!

Agreed that 2 art challenges at once is a lot, and maybe a name change is in order. Sad to see this go.

That said, why is this thread still sticky?

@Fishelle: Perhaps they left it sticky so people could comment on the end of the challenge.

Thanks to everyone for the comments, folks - as I said in the initial post announcing the closure, it didn't work for various reasons, none of which were wholly responsible.

Time restrictions, the number of art threads, possibly the title (though I have to say, naming it The Art of Fast Fiction kind of gave the game away, from what I could see...)

It was left on sticky for no other reason than I forgot to remove the 'sticky'... But all the comments are appreciated.

    Thanks again.
