All right, bitches! I'm about to go through the whole thread! Sorry in advance about the massive post:
@moali: Beautiful work on the wrinkles and hair. Two things I never get right.
@jackcrowder: Love the arcade machine one and the Spanish girl. Great retro vibe in style and poses from the arcade guys. :D
@JuanNavarro: Digging the squishiness of the lines, if that makes any sense. :) Good work!
@mojokingbee: Makeout drawing: That is a very hungry couple. :D It's got a great feel to it! ... The "new comic" and Wolverine Girl post: That overhead shot of the bed is fantastic. I'm not exactly sure what it is, I just think you've managed to really balance the linework well in it. Also, great work on the perspective of the Wolverine one. I hate doing perspective, I ALWAYS mess it up, especially faces. Joker looks suitably insane. In fact, I tend to look a bit like that when I'm grinning. Great classroom shot with tons of detail. :D
@no cuddle time: I love the textures of your strokes. Very bleak and crazy.
@256: Loving the design. Very "Tubemap of London". Reminds me a bit of the game Atom Zombie Smasher.
@FredG: Interesting technique! I actually thought you had used a photo of an eye and cartoonified it.
@WednesdayWolf: Your Yoda is one of the most insane, fantastic things I've seen in a long time. I want a massive print of it! :D I also want a whole comic book with the adventures of Chewie and Yoda.
@Edwin: The resemblance to Mr Stipe is absolutely uncanny. The general shape of it gives me the feeling of a Mad comic. I'm not sure why.
@dorkmuffin: The one you're not sure about: It has a very rough texture, like it's not quite finished, but that's also what I like about it. Their faces look dead but their eyes look terrified, which is pretty much how I'd feel at a gala party. :D
@tnperkins: Great work, man! And great, dynamic compositions, too!
@used_bandaid: I think you mean OmigoshCyoot!! :D I would love to see that style through a whole illustrated book. :)
@oddbill: Those progress sketches are fantastic. Kind of puts me in mind of a more organic Aeon Flux. Beautiful but not streamlined at all. Also, love the handipede thing. :D
@Amalgamated Biscuit: Great style, very confident. Also; informative! YAY! Cat by castle: Loving the watercolours. Good tones!
@kenbastard: Great in general, but I love the smokey lines going through it. :)
@JP Stargazer: That's a SPEED drawing?! Crap, man! That is seriously not crap.
@ImaginaryPeople: Dude, awesome style. And I love the execution of the idea. :D
@Jason A. Quest: BAHAHAHAHAH! :D I especially love how terrified she is! "No no, Jesus. I'm not fucking with you. Please... Where the fuck is that bus?!"
@Rooth: Bad-ass sword-wielding chick: Beautiful tones, man! Just remember: People don't want to be sword.
@Animated Trigger: I went and looked at the rest of the comic, and it looks great. I can tell you haven't 100% found your groove yet, but you have great design skills and it's a really creative world you've made for your character. I expect great things from you. :D
@InitiateZao: I lovelovelove that Captain Tightpants portrait. There's something fantastic about the bendiness and the general style of it. Ichido has some fantastic texturing. Especially his torso. Damn it! Your Depp-as-Barnabus sketch just made me actually want to see the Dark Shadows movie now! Zardoz NEEDS a Nolan-remake. I didn't even consider it until now, but I feel it's imperative it gets made at this point.
@Dextra: I love that man, and I love your drawing. Good work! Very sinister.
@3millionyears: There's the beginnings of something great here. :D
@Pupato: Mr Brain is creeping me out. Make him stop. Please. Please make him stop. The stirring. WHY WON'T HE STOP STIRRING?!
@ChrisG: What's bleh about the green dude? Looks perfectly sound to me! Nice, confident lines.
@NeilFord: I'm digging that Page 1 landscape. Your Minimalistic detail works incredibly well and the shapes of the people are striking, even if they ARE checking their texts. :D God, man. Your portraits are atrociously awesome! The shapes, the shading, the lines! I'm in love!
@HEYAPATHY!: I really quite like the blocks design.Love the cars coming through the little streets.
@KPerkins: Awww! Lovely, minimalistic rendering that comes to nice really well.
@Paul Sizer: Love it! Hulk is particularly good. :D
Maybe next time I'll remember to do this as it happens rather than AT THE END OF THE MONTH! Idiot.
A painting by an artist friend of mine. He has a major interest in comics and the pop art movement, so I'm hoping he'll actually get into doing comic art someday!
