I imagine that some of you will have already seen this but being the less traveled of internet denizens, I've stumbled on it and laughed until I realized it belongs here.

    re: Shared birthdays.
If your birthday is any day except February 29, you share your birthday with approximately 1/365 of any population (0.274%).
Therefore, since the world population as of this writing is estimated at 7 billion you share your birthday with over 19 million people around the world (19,178,082).
Here are how many people you share your birthday with for countries around the world:
You currently share your birthday with about 859,178 people who reside in the United States. On a grand scale, you share your birthday with about 3.7 million Chinese and 3.2 million Indians. About 94,473 Canadians share a birthday as do 170,684 Brits and 445,126 Nigerians.
(and no, I am not being a killjoy because I apparently share a birthday with a character from Hello bloody Kitty.)

Alternatively, check here if you'd like to know which celeb's parents copulated around the same time of year as your parents did the beast with two backs. (Yeah, there's an actual website somebody's spent time, money & effort creating solely for this purpose. I know it shouldn't really surprise me but it did.)

I share a birthday with Jesus... does he count as fictional?

While we're on birthdays, do you guys know the birthday paradox? It's one of those wonderful things that prove that most peoples instincts about probability are waaaaay off the mark (and it's not really a paradox, hmm)
