I'm planning a trip to London England this summer and was wondering if anyone knows about the Art Gallery Scene there. Particularily I'm interested in contemporary galleries that exhibit emerging and mid career artists. You know cool strange stuff, not big museums. Here in Toronto we have three streets and a big building where the interesting galleries have huddled, I don't know if London has anything like that. If anyone has any advice on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. Check out Redchurch Street in East London, the surrounding area is packed with galleries too

Always worth checking out the Saatchi, they usually feature work from emerging/new artists from around the world

The Book Club, which is a bar/club/restaurant but aso organises the occasional art show
