@Texture: I checked but I couldn't find any info about this: are you still not accepting previously published stories? I know that previously this had been because you were using it in a course you were taking (how'd that go, by the way?). The reason I ask is that I feel that the story I wrote for the first Out Of Place, Out Of Time compilation would fit within SF theme, and it would drop into one of the flash-fiction slots pretty nicely. Is this kosher?
  2.  (10612.107)
Doubt I'll be able to submit anything this time around (don't have anything sitting around that's 'hard SF', and don't know if I'll be able to write anything because travel), so unless I get struck by some crazy inspiration I'll have to hold off for #3.

@texture: Okidoke, no worries. I've got a few other things in the works (maybe - we'll see if they turn into anything interesting).

I was really hoping to submit something for #2, but I've got too much on, not getting to write anywhere near as much as I'd like. I'm looking forward to picking up a copy though.

Just a quick update - I'm reading through submissions and have accepted a few things. If you've sent me something, you should hear back by Monday at the latest. If you haven't heard back by then, please drop me a line. I still have plenty of space for fiction pieces, so if you still want to get involved with issue 2 - the SF issue - drop me a line at editor.weaponizer@gmail.com.

Issue 1 is still on sale!

Thanks for your submissions and your support, the standard has been ridiculously high, we've got some unbelievably cool author interviews scheduled, and about three times as many comics as last time, all of which are looking stupendous. I'm incredibly excited about this issue. Street date is looking like early November now, and I'll be accepting submissions up til October. The commissioning email for story illustrators will be coming round next week as well.

Right, that's all the submissions so far read and replied to, as far as I know. Anyone here who hasn't had a reply from me, please let me know. Don't think I missed anyone, but good to make sure.

Okay so here's what I've definitely accepted so far... there are still a few fiction spaces open. New deadline 15 Oct. This issue looks fan-fucking-tastic. Thanks for all your hard work so far guys...

    COMICS

No Heroic Measures – Richard Fannon / Lee Smart
Calum MacAskill: Chaos Detective – Harlequinade
    Crashed – Iain Laurie
    Synched – Mo Ali
The Long Sleep – Robert Lefebvre / David Valente
    Payday - Keith Perkins

    FICTION

    Conha – Will Couper
En Passant – Mike W. Leavitt
    Packaged Truth – Paul Grimsley
    In Perpetuum – Aaron Jacobs
The Man Upstairs – Michael Jacobo
The Kusanagi Run – C. Brian Hickey

(Pieces from Janos and Steve Toase are awaiting revisions, but are on the list when finalised)

Again, if you've submitted something and received no reply, please do let me know.... as far as I'm aware that's everyone who has submitted replied to, but there's always a chance I missed something.

I'm commissioning for illustrators next week - artists, expect an email!
