I'm surprised there's no thread started for this yet.

So, who is going? Where will you be? What are you excited about? What afterparties shall you be attending?

I'll be there plugging the latest issue of London Horror Comic at table K10. So if you're around come and say hello!

    omigosh. It's so HUGE now!

    Seriously? Is nobody else attending?

I was going to try and subdue the anxiety that MoCCA gives me and attend... but I think I might be getting sick. Dammit.

For once, I will actually not attend the actual festivities. I have a rhinoceros beetle taxidermy class Saturday afternoon and plans to do hungover brunch Sunday afternoon.

However! There are a lovely group of Norwegians showing there who spent the past week printing like fucking bosses at my print lab and have tons of beautiful silkscreened prints in a variety of sizes. You should try to find them - the work is superb and, y'know, they basically showed up in NYC to make it all so you should take it off their hands so they don't have to bring any back.

Yeah, because then they'd probably have to pay import tax on it and there'll be a whole palaver about exceeding the weight limit, etc etc. Better just buy some of their stuff. Just don't look them in the eyes. That tends to spook the elusive Norwegian Mountain Moose.

It's all that eye contact that makes me prone to panic attacks when attending MoCCA, quite honestly. Table after table of people looking right at you as you judge their artwork and decide if you want to give them $3 for months of work and devotion.

    *shudder*

Y'know, the more I hear about it, the more I think I'd get on quite well in your Northern European societies.
