    On the drawing board right now. Chasing a shape (liquid) a texture (feathers) a smell (woodsmoke) and an emotion (anger)

    What project occupies your mindscape now?

    Nothing nearly as poetic as @Yskaya, I'm just bored with a current project so I goofed off and drew this instead to occupy my mind with simple shapes and clip-art palm trees.

    A page from a comic I'm working on. Not actually coloured yet, but getting there.

    @FredG - So slick - I love it!

    Mojo what was that Omni piece from last month about? Did you just do the cover for a comic?

    This stuff will make you a...

    I'm trying to pick a design for a promotional bookmark for the new project I'm working on. My girlfriend says the one on the right looks a little too "Kill Bill" and I'm inclined to agree. I think the one on the left looks a little too real/digital. I would ideally like to just continue with the comic and then take art from the pages and plop it on a bookmark/postcard but I need this done this week.

    I have to agsinst the "Kill Bill" one (as great as it is), especially since Uma Thurman's character was "Beatrix Kiddo", and that might be a little too close.

    Oh wow, I didn't know that! I can't use it then. I wonder if the writer I'm working with knows that..? Thanks!

    My imagination was captured by a singular vision (one vision, if you will) that I felt had to be expanded on. (Also, wanted some up to date sample pages!)

    Finally finished a piece I started and abandoned around two years back.

    @Neil... Neil, I can't stop laughing. It hurts, Neil. MAKE IT STOP HURTING.

    @Richard: Holy SHIT that's awesome!

    Been playing around with a skin tones palette I made. Pretty happy with the results:

    First time posting in the Artists' Thread...

    Early, extremely inexpert scribbling with the tablet and ArtRage. Heavy use (bordering on abuse) of the trace function.

    Quick question for you kickass black-and-white artists.

    I've been trying to practice my color choices and lighting, but, silly me, most of my own stuff is either already colored, or just doesn't lend itself well to this sort of thing. Would anyone be willing to hook a brother up with something of theirs that they'd like to see colored? Obviously, I'll post it in this here thread for all to see.

    Alan, if you want to colour either of those Wolverine/Freddie pages, rock on. You can work with those or I could send you the (600dpi, about 17MB) originals.
