This month's theme is DEAD BY DAWN. Take it. Twist it. Fashion your world with these words and take a picture.
So a couple of things...
1. THIS IS NOT A CONTEST. There are no "winners" in this. It is strictly a photo challenge where you present something based on a theme given for the challenge. There is NO COMPETITION.
2. You may submit no more than 3 pictures per challenge.
3. If you feel like you need to explain your work, please feel free to do so.
4. SERIOUSLY, THIS ISN'T A FUCKING CONTEST.
5. You will be given ONE MONTH to complete the challenge and post it.
6. Photoshopping is allowed, but don't go overboard and please use only your own photos.
7. For clarification, please submit ORIGINAL photography. Meaning: You took this picture.
8. The picture must be taken for this challenge. Meaning, please don't dig up old photos from several months ago.
9. Ideas are randomly selected and submitted via e-mail by members and can be anything from a single word, to a poem...anything, really. To send an idea, e-mail it to wcphotochallenge@gmail.com
Also, apologies that I wasn't able to announce a winner of last months contest. I'll get around to it. This giant gift basket full of Sloth shit isn't going anywhere. -

Drat, I was at Dead By Dawn last month and didn't take any pictures. (It's our local horror film festival.)

Dead by dawn - and I don't think I can get my hands on a firing squad to photograph. This calls for some thinking outside the square....

ETA: regardless of what I submit, manglr's first image wins the grand prize of one half eaten stale Tim Horton's donut shipped from Toronto to wherever the fuck he lives. that car is awesome. -
mmmmm.....stale cruller. Thanks for saying and I graciously accept the no-prize.
That car is for sale by the way. I was sorely tempted to buy the damn thing and plant it in a photogenic field to use as my photographic muse for the next twenty years or so as it gradually melts. -

Ooh. don't know if they'll let me take a picture but we have scene/visual in the play I'm working on where one of the character is ensconced in an art piece, surrounded by dead and dying animals. The character is certainly going to be... what's phrase again? passed away by first light? yeah. Hopefully. -

Sorry, i am a bit useless. I had great ideas and i ran out of time. Never mind, this will have to do.
