Back in February I had the pleasure of going on the JoCoCruiseCrazy nerd cruise and one of the people I met there was a guy named Chris. Chris was a geek like so many of us here and he told me a story about how, after suffering a pretty bad back injury, he took some time to create a collaborative superhero card game. Using some of his own money, he and a friend got that game, Sentinels of the Multiverse, off the ground. He took it to GenCon Indy that year and it was declared the best new indy game.

I had the pleasure of being taught how to play the game by Chris himself while on the cruise and bought the game and the expansion Rook City immediately upon getting home. Since then I've introduced many of my friends to it and all of them have loved it.

Well, Chris and his company have done a Kickstarter here for the next expansion and, as you can see, it's been hugely successful (my wife and I dropped $100 on this, even though it doubles up on what we already had in some ways). Contributing to this would get you a great game and further help out a great guy make great, comic-themed games for people to enjoy.
