It's based on the logo from "Batman Beyond" which (I noticed while doing this) sort of suggests a "W". In Paint Shop Pro I stretched it vertically and duplicated it, switched one to a negative image (giving me one black and one white). Lining them up, I resized the black one (about 2% bigger, I think). The font for the "W" was Gloucester MT Extra - black lines, transparent centre - pasted on top, elongated to sit nicely inside the logo, then dropped to around 50-60% opacity.
And there you have it. As low tech as you can get without resorting to scissors and paste.
And, just this once, just once, I get to say "Eat it, Sizer! My logo design pounded you into the ground!"
Shhh. No body draw attention to the fact that Sizer didn't actually do a logo this week...
