Wow. I went a while without posting again and have come back to what quite honestly may be the best month of art I've ever seen. You all are killing it. There is some outstanding work on here, but I have to say, @mojokingbee I've always loved your digital sketches, but your pages are amazing. Love the layout designs. Are you working all digital?
Thought I'd post up the first five pages of a story I started working on. Kind of a send up to Hugo Pratt's Corto Maltese character if you're familiar. Kind of like Midnight in Paris meets Indiana Jones, but without the time travel. The projects going to be around 80 pages total, this is just the prologue.
The usual stream of super heros, monsters, Sizerized people and noir comics will be periodically interrupted until I get a vintage motor home in my drive way. You have been warned, now somebody needs to step up and stop this nonsense.
Great motor home, Fred. All it needs is a sexy spokesmodel. Say.... Sizer and FredG: Together, there ain't nothing we can't not do! (wow, triple/maybe quadruple negative)
Caroline needs to start popping up everywhere, like "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" (that's an American kids show for you people who don't know; I'm not even sure it's still on.) Some marvelous work there @JudgeFuz
@ JudgeFuz nice work! love the monstrous robot arm
Here's a little commissioned drawing I did for a local cafe in Toronto's Kensington Market. The shop has decided to feature a new artist on their storefront balcony every two or three months which is nice because they are in a really busy and highly visible spot right downtown.
@apathy Cheers man, good on you. @Fredg All I can hear in my head now is some announcer voice randomly saying, "You've been Sizerized!" Also, you are creating in me an unhealthy desire for an vintage RV as well. I miss traveling and camping.
