I'm in the mood for some rowdy old-school message boards, especially.

I've just come across this gem, which I can't *believe* I've overlooked before: Godlike Productions - dedicated to Conspiracy Theories, UFOs and the like.

Your favorites for lively, edgy discussion?

Interesting, I will give that link a go. To be honest, I don't really visit many online communities, but maybe it's time to flap my virtual wings. I sometimes visit a couple of recovery sites. An American one called Intherooms.com - It's a bit messed-up, as it seems to cater for every fellowship on this rock, from Narcotics Anonymous to Sexaholics Anonymous. The chat on it can get a bit...weird. I've interacted with a couple of OK folks from the States, though.

The UKNA site has been helpful for people like me, as I used to do a lot of virtual meetings on it. An ex-girlfriend goes on it, and that can get a bit...weird.

I'm trying to avoid that sort of...weird, at the moment. For various reasons, I've not even got a facebook account.

Anyway, all this isn't really relevant, and I'm willing to look at people's suggestions from here.

Can get quite spikey, but is interesting as you get not only UK/US culture rubbing up against each other but UK/US expat culture. (The name comes from Munich, where the site originally started, being considered very safe and a 'Toytown'.
Toytown Germany
