@StephenJ: X-Com: Enemy Unknown, made by Firaxis, is going to be a turn-based tactical squad game. XCom, made by 2K Marin, is a "tactical shooter". Which one you want to call "X-Com 3" is up to you, though my personal preference is for the former.
Technically Big Country weren't a one hit wonder. In a Big Country was there best track, but it wasn't their biggest hit, and their album The Crossing was a staple of my listening at that time (I had the gatefold numbered collector's edition). I saw them support Bowie at Wembley in '87 (Glass Spider tour) and they are still touring and headlining. They are Sunday headliners at Hard Rock Calling next month.
I just deciphered the text in that TOTP2 clip. I hadn't realised Stuart Adamson had died and been replaced by Mike Peters. That explains why he looks so much like Mike Peters nowadays.
@Morac: Thanks. The former for me, too. X-Com: UFO Defense (which I replayed earlier this year) plays like the SF miniatures games I was into many years ago.
