Also, as far as psychedelics are concerned there's other options. DMT is a lot more common now, due to the fact you can make it yourself in your living room by boiling some tree bark.
There's the 2C family of chemicals, the most popular I think are 2C-B and 2C-I which has the effects of both LSD and Ecstacy.
And there's a few potent interesting (currently) legal psychedelics you can buy cheaply online like AMT, the NBOMe series and 5-MeO-DALT

Still loads of Psilocybins growing here in the UK. I picked a couple of handfuls yesterday in the fields out the back of my flat. I do love a good blowout on acid, but when it comes down to the nut cruncher, there is no better buzz than a good mushroom blast. There's nothing like it.

Actually, good acid is very like it, but when those huge waves of Psil start rolling in, you never know just how far you're going to get taken.

Shrooms used to grow in clumps on my vacation property back in Australia. Made for some fun weekends away with friends.

Regarding neurontin: I despise the stuff. I have been put on Neurontin a few different occasions, and it makes me feel far too zombified.

Regarding marijuana: I had no idea that during the autumn, being harvest time, farms across the country (in places like New Mexico, for example) hire people to trim freshly cut buds and pay at a rate of $200 (or an ounce of weed) for each pound of trimmed marijuana. I also did not know that on popular highway routes from there to the east coast, there are traps set by state troopers to lure panicky drivers with illegal contraband. I also did not know that a person (if a white or asian female) might drive away relatively unscathed after being found with over four pounds of marijuana in the trunk of a rental car.

    Now I know.

Here's an interesting side effect to Morphine that I noticed. For the past three years I had been taking about 480 mg per day as a result of a thoracic anterior compression fracture of the T3. Previous to the accident I had very curly hair (as in tight ringlets if I let it grow) and after my hair became straight. I didn't know if this was due to the trauma, the spinal injury or the multitude of drugs. Recently I have lowered my daily dose to 120 mg per day and my hair is curling again. Who knew?

My mom always told me to eat my bread crusts, it'll make your hair curly. Who INDEED knew morphine (or lack of same) would have a similar effect?

(Sorry. Not being facetious. Fatuous, MAYBE Fta'gn R'yeleh FOR SURE.)

Try the aklo and remember to tip the Elder Gods.

Whiskey. My drug is whiskey. But ayahuasca interests me. If I'm ever in the right setting, I bet I'd try it. That said, I went to a talk once, and it was a bunch of hippies sort of laughingly disowning their own experiences with it.

Anyone ever try Modafinil/Armodafinil? I'm curious what your experiences are.
