Ultrasylvania, Volume 1, will have its debut release at both NYCC and the Alternative Press Expo (APE) in San Francisco. As far as I’m aware, we are the only book that can boast a bi-coastal simultaneous release at these events. If you will be attending either show, here’s where and when you can find us.
New York Comic Con (Oct. 11-14)
Artist Alley – K5 (under the name Brian Schirmer)
I’ll be there, selling and signing.
Alternative Press Expo (Oct. 13-14)
Table 317 (under the monicker Third Option Press)
Art Director Jeremy Saliba & numerous artists from the book will be there throughout the weekend.
Just a brief announcement that we've launched Volume 2 of Ultrasylvania today, resuming thrice-a-week page updates for your alt-history/classic-movie-monster-reinterpretation pleasure.
We launched a Kickstarter campaign yesterday to fund the printing of Volume Two. As you can see, we're off to a fantastic start, but still have a ways to go. These campaigns are absolutely worth it, but - man - do they kick one's ass.
Volume Two of Ultrasylvania hit its funding goal last night. Now, with 7 hours to go, we see just how high it will climb.
To those of you who jumped on board - THANK YOU! For those of you still interested, there's still time to be a part of this. Plus, you can rest assured that the project is already funded - so you're sure to get a copy and some cool swag!
Last but not least.... Volume 3? Artists are working on it right now. :)
I'm completely stoked for April and a physical copy of Ultrasylvania Vol. 2. I think I'm looking forward to Volume 3 even more, though, because if the pattern continues we'll get a lot of in-depth focus on The Egyptian.
Thanks, @johnjones! The book is ideally getting to the printer today. Very excited on this end. And, yes, Volume 3 is well underway. And I think you'll be rather pleased with where it goes.... :)
