I want to work with you.

Is anyone here interested in modeling for me? Doesn't have to be nude, but could be. I'd like some traditional/surreal seated portraits. I'm in Brooklyn.

@Joanne - If you're ever in San Diego or if I ever finally get my ass to NYC, I will contact you! I've done nude modeling once before and it was loads of fun. Ironically, few things make me feel better about my body than modeling nude. It's oddly a great cure for self-consciousness.

@SteveToase - I am loving the photo of your dad with an "old guys rule" t-shirt holding a tiny infant. It's perfect.

@Oddbill - your model is gorgeous and you always take such great shots of her!

@Chris - Clever and creative, I like it.

I can thoroughly recommend working with Joanne. She's awesome, and not the least bit murdery!

@Joanne Same with me! If you ever find yourself in Salt Lake City, or I move east or visit New York again, I'd love to be involved in your work.

I'm finally attacking the massive backlog of photographs I've got piling up for over two years. Also, I'm watermarking. I kind of hate it, but I also hate the idea of my images being saved to someone's hard drive and falling into that void of "hey, I wonder who made this?"

Rachael, that's a very tasteful watermark. I don't see it being any different than an painter signing a piece he just finished. Maybe for the bottom photo, use a watermark in black? I can hardly see your name and likely wouldn't notice it if I didn't know it was there.

@argos. Thanks. That photo personally means a lot. @Rachael I would look at placement as that could very easily be cropped.
  3.  (10726.15)
@argos - I fixed it a wee bit, made it less transparent on that last one. I keep fucking with it, deciding how pale it can go while being legible. Hmmmm....

@Steve Toase - I know it could be cropped. I don't really mind that. I mean, if anyone really wants to get rid of a watermark, it's easily done in photoshop. I can't prevent that. I just wanted a way to sign my photograph to retain credit in a way that doesn't fuck with the photograph aesthetically. Most people don't crop out watermarks. Most people save photos they like, and end up with folders of random images on their hard drive. I want my photos to remain by ME, so if anyone is so inclined, they can google my name and find more pictures.

@rachael fair. Good shots btw. I think the point you make becomes even more significant with sites such as pinterest. you're not going to stop people, reposting, even if you wanted to, but you can draw them to more of your work.

Crossposting this 'cause it's, like, my favourite thing ever.

Also, we broke into another abandoned place, and met some graffiti artists.
