@ Yskaya - Almost 4hrs including prep, about 3-3:30 actual work. Valentin had actually drawn the whole thing out for reference in advance, obviouly, which must have cost him a few more...the dude is a completely dedicated artist, he lavished so much attention on it I felt really humbled.

These may not look like self-portraits, but they are. I'm with Raquel Rinaldi and Rafael Carvalho.

Stills taken from the new short film I directed. And allow me to cheat a bit and add two portraits of me and Rafael Carvalho discussing the music during post-production, under the watchful gaze of a plushie (above Rafael's forehead). Otavio Ugá took these.

Ultimately, Rafael composed the music for Midday Films' new animated logo (designed by Otavio and animated by me) and I composed the music for the first half of the film, because the piano melody had to be made from scratch and Rafael lacked the time to do it. He's the trained musician, but we had to finish the goddamn film.

I wasn't sure what "latin heat" was supposed to mean. At first, I actually thought Alan could be referring to the warm color temperature of the stills, because I can be quite spectacularly clueless. So I asked Alan on Twitter and he explained that "it means you're a sexy brown person, Andre."

My eye colour is entirely dependant on lighting. It goes from all shades of blue to green and I just noticed theres a yellow ring in the middle of the iris that I swear was not there last time I had a proper look at my eyes.

I forgot to mention with my photo that my eyes are slightly different colors - one is more green and one is more blue. Also, the name of this thread never fails to get Daft Punk stuck in my head.
