    Robin, you were awesome in that interview. I particularly loved, "With a lot of craft beers, you can actually taste a lot of the ingredients that went into it. As opposed to a Molson, where it's just... the flavor of tin."

    Robin, seconding what Andre said... that was really cool.

    Meanwhile, in England, it's bloody wet:

    I'm spending this week in an archaeological dig where we are excavating stone age Finnish artifacts, such as stone tools, hearths, etc. I'm only volunteering just out of pure interest.

    EDIT: Blogspam: Indiana Janos and The Small Shards of Pottery

    My first ever find! A minor quartz knapping - no flint up here for tool making.

    I've missed my WC mates, so I'm stopping in here to say hi and that I'll be about a bit more often. At least until real-world life gets interesting again.

    @Nigredo - GREAT tattoo! It's so tasteful, and the quality it superb. I like the dotted effect on the shading.

    @vornaskotti nice one. When I started as an archaeologist my first find was a cow's tooth. What age is the site?

    Cheers, dude :)

    @ Yskaya - Almost 4hrs including prep, about 3-3:30 actual work. Valentin had actually drawn the whole thing out for reference in advance, obviouly, which must have cost him a few more...the dude is a completely dedicated artist, he lavished so much attention on it I felt really humbled.

    @Steve:

    Mesolithic stone age, about 2000-4000 BC, or thereabouts, old shores of the Littorina sea in South-West Finland. So far I've found knappings, pieces of pottery, things that were perhaps temporary or one use tools, and some burned bone. I'm fascinated as fuck. :P
