    @Stawes

    Yeah,I downloaded it too--I'm surprised that Kotaku would link to such a sketchy-looking site. But it's only because the far more prominent download button is actually an "optimizer" .exe that's no bueno; I had to carefully look around for the real download link.

    Anyhoo!

    Posting like a madman lately, sorry. But Greg Barris is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine.

    How do you even get Thomas Jane and Ron Perlman to star in a "fan film" ?

    Also, what do they put in the Jack Daniel's these days ?

    @Wood: It appears that it was Jane's idea. "I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish - we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it."

    They got cover artist Tim Bradstreet to design the T-shirt as well.

    The Glaucus atlanticus is a planktonic animal that belongs to the oceanic group known as Nudibranches. This amazing-looking creature is a sea slug that floats freely on open seas feeding on jellyfish including the Portuguese Man o' War.

    Gasoline. And it looks like they make the bottles out of diamonds, too.

    I enjoyed the Punisher fan film, but I was a little annoyed that they pulled music from, of all things, The Dark Knight. They couldn't have gotten something that wasn't immediately recognizable and entirely linked to another superhero?

    #DirtyLaundry

    DJ: I know what you're getting at re: TDK music being used but if any character would work well with a Nolan-esque take on it, I'd love it to be Frank Castle (or maybe a starring vehicle for the JD bottle alone).

    Just out of idle curiosity, has anyone seen how much it cost to make?
