Just out of curiosity, am I the only one really excited about this? A documentary about Jeffery Lee Pierce and The Gun Club?

They always stuck me as the lost little children of L.A.'s seminal punk rock scene, appreciated more by critics and musicians while the kids just nodded out to the Germs' LP. But they were the first band to do something musical that later would be picked up by X, the Blasters, Social Distortion and a lot of other later acts.

    Opinions?

Aw fuck yeah! I didn't even know this was in the works, but I dig everything even marginally related to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, so I'm down. I'm going to go listen to Fire of Love to get psyched.

    Will

The Gun Club needs more attention than almost any other band from LA from that era. Jeffery's autobiography Go Tell The Mountain is a fantastic read. I'm really looking forward to seeing all that footage.

No worries Ben, lots of people have eighty dollars that I don't.

Don't tell the people on the US Election thread... I just bet five bills on the outcome of the general election.

Didn't know about it, but I can't wait to see it now. Thanks!
