    So. It's August. How about you quit watching the fucking Olympics and make some art, ya lazy bastards.

    Oh my, what just came over me?
    I'm so sorry. Here's a naked lady I just drew in 20 minutes:

    @sizer I agree with Dorkmuffin

    Here's a series of things I've been doing between finishing up the lettering on my comic:

    Thanks all; I've been too long away from actual life drawing, so I am working on correcting that.
    My rule right now; no erasers. And actually look at form. Like I should be any way, right?
    Here's the rest of the work from the other night...

    Getting the month off to a great start! More life-pose love from me, Mr Sizer - great stuff.

    This is something I do; I do not know why:

    LVx-FRhb-3-4-o1

    My cover for Hilaire Belloc's book The French Revolution (1910).

    [Since it's public domain, the book is available for free as both a Project Gutenberg ebook and as a Librivox.org audiobook.]

    @HEYAPATHY!

    I'm looking at your first pic up there (great work btw!) and I can't help but notice the sign next to the elevators...

    For some reason, my mind reads it as:
    COMMUNITECH
    GOOGLE
    DESIRE2LEARN
    and then apparently, Male & Female Mushrooms

    I just thought I'd share that. Also, I've been awake far too long.

    Hey Folks!

    Here we have a little gift for Rodrigo Lopez from the Major Spoilers Podcast.... I was listening to Major Spoilers Podcast #433: Listener Feedback when he made mention of how he would treat Batman if he ran the title... so here was my take on that. Cheers, Rodrigo!

    Back at the star wars stuff; previous attempt at a set of illustrations for a (parody! parody!) story game stalled due to boredom. A bit happier with the results now. Might even finish. Yay!

    More progress with the detail work on the Canvas From Hell, upper right-hand corner. I want this painting to howl at its audience when I'm done.

    Echoing Greasemonkey - I love this thread.

    @MercurialBlonde - I am really enjoying your stuff! I love all the white spaces against the crazy tripped out colors. The third one you posted almost feels like you took Ben Templesmith's style of drawing people and mixed it with the coloring scheme from Wild Children.

    More life drawing, tonight with a 6'-2" girl built like the Olympic volleyball women. She was amazing, and very tough to get proportioned on the paper.
