It's about the size of an eight-legged Labrador.

When my aunt came to Australia for the first time, she was alarmed by the sound of the huge brushtail possums crashing around on the tin roof and the harsh scratch of their voices. "Don't worry," said Mum, "It's just the tree spiders. They're harmless."

My poor aunt slept in the sweltering heat with the window shut all week.

You know, if keeping those things took off there'd be room for a whole line of grooming products. I mean, look at the hair on the buggers!

I'm copying a fuckton of video and feeling restless.

Took part in a lofi scifi 48 film challenge last weekend.

My film (I was editor) is online now
    Iteration

When the others are online I'll share a couple more. Mine is a drama, but a couple of comedies were hilarious.

    @Wood

What? I'm trying to understand just what the point of that was?

I researched it this morning. Apparently "kink shaming" is the new social justice outrage on Tumblr. From what I can tell, "kink shaming" largely consists of fanfic authors and young horny folks who just don't understand why some people get squicked at some kinks and say so.

If you want some real outrage, look up the "cotton ceiling". That is the term that some transgendered women use to describe the reluctance of lesbians to deal with a penis.

...Ok. Because that whole diatribe, to me, read as "I'm an older dude who would want to bang an under eighteen year-old, but they don't want to have sex with me, only their peers, and that's bad because I'm not getting laid by the underage, so I will inappropriately use a negative term to describe someone who wants to have sex with the young to describe these people who I'm mad at for not giving me the sex."

Or, to put it bluntly "You're not letting me be a pedo so I'm going to call you a pedo for wanting to have sex with people your own age."

Also, when did pedophile become a sexual orientation?

    Oh, right. Never.

"If you want some real outrage, look up the "cotton ceiling". That is the term that some transgendered women use to describe the reluctance of lesbians to deal with a penis. "

...Ok, I'm going to be over here, shaking my head at the internet for a while.

@ Renthing : it never occured to me that this post could be for real. At best, it's epic trolling, but probably just a joke. Am I overtly optimistic if I think "nobody is THAT stupid" ?

I just found it funny, like the ultimate perversion of logic.

Also, and this is a very unpopular thing to point out, BUT:

Pedophilia is not being attracted to persons under 18 but prepubescents.

    I'm pretty sure that's a satirical post.

Yeah, but the story specifically mentions 13-years old, so I think it touches prepubescent territory.

    @ Wood and Renthing

See, I was going with Wood on this one. I assumed it was a satirical post. Now I have to consider the possibility that it was for real. And that makes me feel sickened by the world just a little bit more.
