Just wanted to add that i recall many people, Shannon Larratt included, having to get them removed because the silicone coatings degraded and the metals became directly exposed to the flesh. Still sounds like a cool experience, though. I was definitely interested for a while.
Hullo. I've landed a gig writing entertainment news on one site, and I've decided to use it to bring up alternative, non-mainstream (ie. non-Marvel/DC superhero stuff) comics. I'm mainly following Bleeding Cool now, but are there some other news sites where stuff like this gets shout outs? Shilled Crossed: Wish You Were Here there already, btw ;)
I was real excited by this until I read the bit about these getting moved around by external magnets. Has anyone tried this in other body parts like the earlobe?
(Kind of curious too if by using two magnets a fair distance apart you could actually sense field strength gradients and direction.)
Might be worth researching whether these have any effect on magnetic storage. If so then keep your magnetic fingers well away from your computer's hard drive or face corrupting all your files...
A converter such as this one will let you download the audio as an mp3. There seem to be a lot of tutorials online for converting mp3s to iPhone ringtones, so start poking around on Google for one that works on your particular version.
