Comic I'm getting this week: Batwoman #12 -- Been very meh about this arc... JH Williams is back on art in the next issue or two though. His art is so beautiful.
Comics I'll get in trade: Saga #6 -- Sounds like a great series. X-Men #34 -- Brian Wood!
because i am a pervert AND because of the way comics are, i saw BATTLE BREASTS listed and figured 'welp, we finally got to that point' before realizing it was in fact BATTLE BEASTS as for my actual reading: SAGA FATALE SUPREME
Not really sure where to plop this down, but hope here will do - the reason I'm so tired today is that yesterday I bought the comic album Wizzywig and thought I'd just read a couple of pages, but ended up finishing it and reviewing / blogging it. Without further ado, blogspam ahoy: Wizzywig – A Beautiful Story of Hacker Lore In The Comic Form
as someone who got 1000% burnt out on true superhero books, the last page of this weeks SUPREME gave me a nerd-crossover joy that i havent experienced in years. its rare for a true surprise in these days of spoilers and 3 month solicitation lead time etc
Alabaster wolves - best thing out fr months; shame it didn't sell enough Batwoman - ah the design of those pages Shade Jennifer blood Revival - yah! Butcher baker Saga - I think I'm a little bit in love with Fiona Staples Saucer country And of course just to take the edge off ... Crossed Badlands
i bought some cheap old dixon/nolan Detective comics involving the riddler strapping bombs to the cluemaster and it really hammered home the point me that im past the point where the new-school, super serious DC is just not for me. loved all of this stuff though. also love picking up old comics and seeing the ads from 1995, it looks like a million years ago.
