The machines seemed to be working just now when my sister and I voted, but apparently some of the record sheets were printed with incorrect numbering... the officials were just correcting them by hand, but it still makes me more than a little uneasy. I'm not sure how much of this is paranoia, how much is just stupid technical errors inherent to a process this vast, and how much is legitimate shenaniganery.

I just got to thinking about a the potential Romney cabinet.

    - Bolton? A huge State Dept. middle finger to everyone else.
    - Condi Rice? Maybe?
    - Huntsman? State, defs. but too much of a waffle for the base.
    - Cain, never.
    - Newt. NEVER EVER. (not a team player)
    - Ron Paul. HAHAHA no.
    - Santorum? ewwww

Not sure where i stole this from: Someone's been doing a bit of last minute tinkering with those voting machines.

Do they actually need to win or can they get away with blurring the result enough to cast doubt on the whole thing? Interesting times!

I voted with pen & paper a week ago. I filled in the little circle beside Obama's name, voted to spend a lot of money in-state to make sure the infrastructure doesn't fall apart, and completed the entire task in about 20 minutes. Nobody asked for photo ID, although I had it on me. The whole process was the complete opposite of what I hear going on nationwide today. <3 early voting.

Watching: BBC's election map, compared with electoral-vote.com's most recent poll prediction map, irrelevant youtube videos on the side.
Drinking: Meantime London stout. Not bad.

@oldhat - is that the UK St Peter's brewery? If so, good stuff.

Trying to avoid poking around online and getting caught up in the breathless "coming soon!'-ness of it all. My best course of action would be to go read a book tonight and check the results tomorrow morning. Also, my plans to watch the Daily Show/Colbert Report live coverage fell through. :(

256, it is indeed. I am in love with this winter ale.

My dad is actually showing surprise that Romney is getting southern conservative states.

    Really.

Had to do a little extra paperwork, but I voted. I'm overly caffienated, so I'm probably going to stick to tea. (I save booze for guests.) I'm not really looking at anything, but I'm being informed of it anyway.

Double fisting CNN and NBC with a side of twitter. Had one beer already, waiting til the rest of my friends come over to drink more.

Also, just said this on fb and twitter, but I'm really happy to see people being so passionate about voting. As someone who is an American resident, but not a citizen, it makes me feel good when I see my friends not taking their rights for granted.
