I always thought the thread 'Writers, Sound Off.' was for the self promotion.

Ok, i'll check out the other thread vandalhandle mentioned, but within the purview of physical books, though it can be had digitally as well, i've just relaunched my ongoing personal anthology project, Revolver, this week. Plan to get it to stores independently but right now offering it free of shipping, anywhere. Here's a preview of the whole guts in one thumbnail! if you want a closer look there's a video and a slideshow on the sale page.

Does anyone else here follow the Unwritten?

I'm a trade waiter for the series, and so I just read book 6 which collects 31-35 including .5 issues or something.

But goddamn, my friends and I who've read Lucifer were lamenting about how the Unwritten just isn't in the same scope as Lucifer but after reading the sixth book, I think we judged a little quickly.

That shit about Pullman? That shit about Rausch? pretty great.

@InvincibleM I've had it on sub since issue #1, and it's one of the few things I've kept on there. Great stuff. It had a slog for a while after about 2 years of brilliance, especially on a month to month basis, but it has finally been redeeming itself again. Stick with it.

that GHOSTS anthology is so, so good. theres only 2 stories that i didnt love, plus for those who dont know (i didnt) the Final Joe Kubert Story is still in rough pencil state which is both beautiful and kind of haunting. Ghosts, indeed.

BEDLAM was pretty much exactly what i feared...i like the crazy shit from the past, but it already is building an (i think) intentionally confusing conspiracy and an annoying 'quirky' lead in current time. most of the dialogue reads like a tv show (hey, some people really like that kind of banter). for me it was not a good overall package. even the art/color gets less interesting in 'modern' timeframe

Fuck - I dismissed that as another crappy reprint lets trick the fan boys into getting stuff they already own type of thing.

Paul Pope's in it too. Balls.
