You only need one ping pong ball, attached to your wrist on a long elastic string. When you bounce it off someone it needs to come back to you. In your other hand you should have a stopwatch, which ...

This is your routine:

Walk up to someone you know and declare:

"Pinging (insert name of friend) with 32 bytes of data!"

Then you bounce your ball off them 4 times, while timing each bounce, all the while narrating:

"Reply from (insert name of friend) bytes equal 32 time equals (say the number of seconds, probably just 1)"

If you ever miss them, or fail to catch the ball, announce:

"Ping request could not find host!"

If you dress all in black, with a black t-shirt that has a command prompt:

C:\Users\Finagle (or your real name)
