Not really having done any drawing or painting or anything since they stopped making me do art at school 18 years ago I decided to have a fiddle with an unused concept for panels running up the side of a set of stairs in a stage version of beauty and the beast...
That last panel feels a bit too heavy metal album cover...
@ nice one amalgamated- the motion is ridiculous @ flxzr- interesting panels, I'd like to see them on a stage
THis is a really old drawing from 2001 I found today while cleaning up the house ( funny my style hasn't changed that much but I think this was the last time I put a grey wash on anything)
I've been busy working on animation for a couple of documentaries. Both finished now, so here's some art from them. I'll post the docs when they're up online, or will at least show my bits when I've cut them into a new showreel. This last guy wan't for an animation, he was for the Squishface Studio Coaster Show!
@chris g - That is the single greatest illustration of a turd I have ever seen. Bravo!
@ Miranda- nice drawings as always @ Sebfowler- really weird stuff, it looks great! can't wait to see the animations
here's a crappy photo of a piece from my recent exhibition, this one's 3 x 7 feet so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a high res scan or not which is too bad because I'd love to show all the little details online.
Here's a blog showing the work of my uncle Ken, who died in a care home fourteen years ago now, aged 53. His drawings and little stories are an odd sort of mix of comic and outsider art, and I'm regularly uploading one drawing a week.
