    Has anyone ever heard of something called Medromel? All I know is that it's Portuguese, contains honey and may well be the sweetest alchoholic substance I have ever encountered. Seriously, it makes sacramental wine taste like lemon juice...

    At work at the moment, after work I'm going to The Fying Saucer, which has an amzing beer list, (and amazing amount of waitresses in the shortest miniskirts possible) but the point is that they have mead on the list so I'm going to try some tonight. Can't remember the names of what they have, but going to give it a shot.

    @ oldhat - do you know Christine Sismondo? She writes on booze for the Star & the Grid and is a friend of mine and she is also awesome and you should know her, if'n you don't. (And MAN! Can that lady DRINK. I thought I was Always Thirsty, she makes me look like Carrie Fookin' Nation.)
