Seems I was once told of twins born whose parents named them Orangejello and Limejello...pronounced OR-ANN-GEL-OH and LEH-MAH-GEL-OH. -

That is really commonly spread around, but it started as an urban legend. It's not impossible that it has happened since, but it is fairly unlikely. -

"Thinn" is definitely going to be the fattest kid ever. A friend of mine worked in a maternity ward briefly, the worst she ever heard was someone who had named their daughter "Placenta." Makes me think they only had one minute after the child was born to pick a name and went with the first thing they saw. I might have gone with "Doctor" but that's just me. -

A recovering meth addict's blog.
I had a more or less average life for a while until the age of 33… I had a good middle-class upbringing, in a loving family where I was the eldest of two brothers, and after school I studied Electrical Engineering. I became a software developer, and progressed fairly normally from junior, through intermediate level, and finally became a senior developer.
But around the same time I became a senior developer, due to several personal issues, I also became a drug addict, with methamphetamine as my drug of choice. This began a downward spiral which lasted for five years and at first only left me demoted from senior back to intermediate developer level, but eventually left me with nothing; no possessions, no car, no house, no job, nothing but a couple of pairs of shorts and t-shirts. -

@Grease - sadly yes. Even after all the editorial and all the fantastic webcomics mocking the thing (hell, even Dork Tower did one), there are STILL people willing to stand up and claim there are women 'bringing everything down for attention'.
I hate humanity. As a group. I know some great individuals (including most people here) but as a group? Fuck humanity. -
