@ Steve - yeah, those guys are known in opera circles for being amazingly funded and damned lucky at making epic productions without too many people getting hurt.
They're really going to have to change The Wasp Factory text to do it justice with singing. It's such a hard thing to do and why so many adaptations of contemporary prose/biographies/internet related things fall on their collectively overpriced arses and end up sounding trite. E.g. The Anna Nicole opera; anything featuring the internet - like the Two Boys opera; and anything in English that strains to be overly serious. #LibrettistRantOver
Cheers for the links though, Steve. It's always good to hear what they're up to 'on the continent' :)
Subtitling stuff wrongly is fun. I did the same thing with a Russian Winnie the Pooh video a while back.
Only problem is that I did it all with Youtube annotations, so it's pretty temporary. I should put it into an actual subtitling program. Speaking of: Anyone know of any good free ones?
@Vornaskotti & twentythoughts: They're so laid back! Is that normal? Also kudos to Markorepairs for being able to laugh at his difficulty with English. I'm sure I sound much worse when I attempt other languages, and I just get horribly embarrassed!
