It's funny because the UK historical fencing world is mired in amateur politics, and the British thing of accepting being crap at our hobbies. Scandinavia and Central Europe are a lot better developed than the UK scene (except for rapier and dagger fencing)

Enough griping, have something awesome from Slovakia:

The Angry Video Game Nerd movie is progressing well, first trailer has appeared...

Yeah, it's silly, but so was the web series, and this'll be a fun swan song for the character and a real mission accomplished for James Rolfe. The dude is a very driven film maker, and so getting a full feature made is something of a life ambition for him.

Just stumbled over this courtesy of Wikipedia's List of television series notable for negative reception

    Don't Scare the Hare

To quote the number one comment - What the actual fuck?

Ooh yeah, 'Don't Scare the Hare' was indeed downright awful. Saturday early evening family friendly gameshow slot, the same sort of slot you'd normally find 'Wipeout', 'Pointless' etc... in. It was in the slot before Doctor Who, so I caught part of it once.

It was SO bad they didn't even air all the episodes they made in the original timeslot. The last few were chucked out quietly on daytime telly during the following weeks.

Thanks Ian, although I don't quite understand why they dug so far back to find my Atoma remake, it's still an oldie but goodie. Heh, "morningwood".

Richard Osman, who is Alexander Armstrong's sidekick on Pointless, also creates gameshows. He did this Interview in the Guardian a couple of weeks ago on failed gameshows.

Yer welcome. I couldn't let it pass quietly by when you got a shout-out of that magnitude.
