    @nigredo - a friend used to work at a company called 'Wessex book supplies' packing boxes of books for primary schools. It amused him no end to cut the 'Wes' off the packing tape.

    His employment didn't last long.

    Captain Pugwash was an amazing piece of Brit kids' animation, adapted from the books of cartoonist John Ryan and filmed live with movable painted cut-outs. There was a black and white series in the fifties, then a colour series in the mid seventies.
