    I'd mercifully forgotten about this song until I'd checked out the Wikipedia page for Mark Mothersbaugh. Merely seeing Toni Basil's name caused the song to spring unbidden from my head like a Valley Girl Athena. On occasion, I can cut down the virulence of the song by overdubbing it with the lyrics, "you take me in the ass/when you take me like a man."
