    Sort of, late '89, but if you count Night Train re-runs we got the 90's covered. The video won Abdul a Grammy Award in 1991 for "Best Short Form Music Video". My nerd trumps your nerd.

    Ahhhrgh! That's right, Night Flight was on during my stay up all night freelance years you would think i could have got that right.

    And yes Trump has ruined the word trump for all rational beings.

    And yes, yes the 91 Grammys does seal my argument.

    (Nerd of another mother might be closer then you than you think, i proudly wear the Loud McLeod tartan from my paternal grandmother's side of the family.)

    My family name "McLeod" is from an unfortunate Carolina-slave-owner-thingee, but I'd like to think that we still have some New World family tree link...
    (I've got a Scottish Clan Festival story to tell someday)
    And I'm pretty sure that the curvaceous Abdul would have no problem carbon-dating herself at 1991.
    As a Night Flight fan, I'm just glad that one of my favorite Remake/Remodel contributors is also a devotee of one of the greatest cable programmes of the 80s/90s.
