    I'm in the mood for hibernating and listening to music like this...


    Different genres are welcome as the melancholic vocals are really what I'm after.

    Similar moods I know come from Low and Grouper but as a whole I'm largely uneducated on people with lovely voices.

    I figure my Whitechapeers are far better at schooling me than the algorithms on last.fm.

    The goslings and Nadja are both awesome. Also Asva, particularly WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW IS FRONTIER and Broadcast. Any of their albums. Apologies for the lack of videos, will rectify that when I get home.

    You can't go wrong with a bit of Seefeel. And even further back there was A.R. Kane. No vocals admittedly, but Labradford hit the spot. Pauline Oliveros has been doing some amazing work, with choral vocals. And it rarely gets better than Bark Psychosis if you're in a mood for elegaic melancholia.
