It's December; the holiday season. Let's pollute it up with some artwork!
Here's my submission to the HAWKEYE INITIATIVE Tumblr...

I just noticed you gave him panty lines. That's awesome.

    Gorgeous! :D
I cannot believe that is an actual cover for an actual comic book... That's pretty horrendous.

@ Magnulus - you've must have missed comics in the 90's then.

Kudos to Mr. Sizer for a cheeky (yup. I went there) way of showing how ridiculous comic book covers can be.

Hah, oh dear god this Hawkeye Initiative should be turned into a real comic. Anyway, changing the subject slightly, here's a lino print without a single panty line or bizarre shoulderboob in sight:

I think this is the right way up for it, what do you think?

I only really read Calvin & Hobbes, Spawn, Donald Duck and my old Batman comics in the nineties. Once Witchblade arrived in Norway, I knew I wanted nothing to do with most of what was going on. It was all the worse for knowing how influenced Witchblade seemed to be by Todd McFarlane in terms of style. It was like knowing that Anne Rice is partly to blame for Twilight.

My Hawkeye gets it all: panty lines, moose knuckle, the works!
Thanks for the good words, people.

@Sizer Not only is that picture awesome, but I have to thank you for showing me the Hawkeye Intiative. How have I missed this?! And seriously, oh God, I grew into reading comics in the 90's.

@Sizer - Man ...that Hawkeye is chasing some serious battles, that's for sure.

Here's some flying batarangs I drew last week.

Hey all: I've just opened my t-shirt shop at SKREENED, where you can pick from a selection of my designs and have them printed on a custom color t-shirt of your choice! There's a bunch of stuff from work I did here for the Remake/Remodel challenges, as well as my brand new ROLLER DERBY ROAD SIGNS series, which will make the derby girl in your life yell in approval! They are the perfect quick gift, and SKREENED uses American made American Apparel clothing, so you are buying local. Please share this with other derby friends and lovers of fine, retro-futuristic design! Here's what the DERBY ROAD SIGNS look like...

    Terrible image. Mix CD art.
    • CommentTimeDec 4th 2012
Christ, I love your art, Dork.

    AND your mix CDs.

Sizer, I almost want that as a poster.

I have to comment to add to the love of the Sizer image that started the thread. I love that it says "empowerment!" at the top.

    Also, @Ryan S Thomason
After turning my laptop about for a minute, I sort of like it sideways. But all ways are good.

The Biggest comic I've ever drawn it's a 4 page epic, A Day In Hell:

It took me ages and I won't be colouring on a seperate piece of paper with a lightbox again (very fiddly) but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
