    I don't know if this has been spoken of before and it may also be premature, but has there been any sign that there might be a prequel to Black Summer. Either a short series showing the Seven Guns at their height or, dare I say, Seven Guns--Year One. Something that would show them actualizing their belifs or showing the events leading up to the death of Laura.

    I dont know if doing a prequel ould fit into Mr. Ellis' stated purpose in doing Black Summmer, but I think it would be a good story. This is also a selfish speculation on my part because I am a technophile and I am fascinated by the use of technology in Black Summer.

    I may be off base in thinking this, but it seems like the idea that was floating around some time ago under the heading of five guns was probably the kernal of the idea of what eventually became black summer, but altered into an ending, rather than a beggining.

    looks to me like we get the back story in the grayed out segments of the story and so far thats been enough for me

    Personally, I can't see what a prequel would really add to the story. It would just become yet another 'saving the world by punching people' comic, and the last thing this world needs is more of those.

    Ooo!!! Cool shiny guns! Explosions! Sarcastic/pun filled dialogue during fights! Etc...

    I really love almost everything about Black Summer. The costumes, the uses of technology, the characters... the only thing I get tired of is Ryp drawing nipples printing through clothes damn near every chance he gets. I really want to see more of these characters and everything.

    I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
    I wanna read the entire story first... that s it, we know what happen before... i wanna know what happening next.
    Fuck the prequel what s important is what will happen next.
    That is life!?
