In light of everybody's suggestions in the last thread, I'm unilaterally dropping the seasonal aspect to the photography thread. This should be good for the next 3-6 months at least. We'll see how it goes from there.
Yeah. Oh yeah. I'm loving them at the moment. I'm actually shooting on film! I've got my old Lubitel TLR out, my analogue lightmeter, borrowed some tanks and I'm processing 120 rolls in the pantry. Soooooo much fun! I've got a bit of a line in digital cyanotypes too though, I'm putting them onto gilded boards, floating on thick layers of lacquer. I'm printing the negs for them in redscale on OHP trannies in an Epson 1290 at 2880 dpi. I did have a sunlamp so I could consistently time exposures but it died while I was moving studio, so I'm basically just taking them outdoors and guessing at the moment.
(ETA: I feel kinda weird dumping these into the photog thread, as they're mostly progress documentation. Maybe there should be a Maker Thread for people who just like to put shit together and whatnot...)
@taphead I noticed the 68 in the last pictures and thought, Good Lord. The low B helps that make sense. On a six string on a tele body eh? Intriguing. How are you feeling about your color choice? @Jehrot I still love your macros (I know, there's an echo in the room). @Oldhat Terrific shot. Did the client not like how they looked? Sometimes things that make fantastic shots to the rest of the world are filled with details we'd rather not see about ourselves.
