    Possibly the new Adventure Time series, I have been loving the various series a lot.
    Will get Punk Rock Jesus in trade, read first issue when it came out and been anxious ever since.

    I find myself unable to read super hero comics anymore. There are creators I completely adore working on some books, and I just can't get myself to care at all. It can't be just the pure work for hire thing, because otherwise I wouldn't be reading Prophet or Adventure Time, but there's just something that is completely detaching me from the genre now. That is all...

    Still loving it. It's a real breath of fresh air in amongst the usual capes and cowls brigade.

    I'll be picking up Prophet once it's in trade, and grabbing the Batman Incorporated trade this week.

    What's Punk Rock Jesus about? I keep hearing good things but have no idea.

    I also received the Nausicaa trades for Christmas / Birthday and have to work my way through those. Looking forward to that.

    @Warped Savant, Punk Rock Jesus, is about a reality TV show cloning jesus and raising him in front of the camera's and he rebels, as much the story of the clone of jesus as it is about his bodyguard/former terrorist. And is even handed in it's take on a difficult subject. A great read so far, and the TPB will be longer.

    @Warped Savant, it had to to cut down in a few places (i think about 10 to 15 pages were cut, not sure on the exact number) to make it a six issues series so it's gonna be full length in trade, six issues long 32 pages per issue no ads, it's gonna be a nice long-ish read in trade.

    Decided to have a poke at Avengers Arena given the backlash and...

    Yeah, I can sort of see why fans of these characters might be a little miffed. Definitely smacks of 'we have too many characters knocking about, and this Marvel Now thing is meant to be simpler, so lets off a few of them...'

    X-23 is in it, and I get the feeling they'll spend the whole thing faking out on killing her off but never actually doing it (cause of all the characters here, X-23 probably has the most other Marvel writers who would want to keep her around...)

    Still, I do love the occasional book that seems to exist purely to troll, so I might well stick it out...

    If the story about Punk Rock Jesus being cut to fit into 6 singles is true then I am going to have to think long and hard about whether I want to bother buying *any* other DC/vertigo series again - singles are my preferred comics delivery unit and it'll be a cold day in hell that I'll switch to reading trades-only. And it's not like I will have any difficulty in finding Image titles to buy and enjoy monthly.

    Warped/Vandal - I've been wanting to hear that conversation for a while now, just haven't been in the shop enough lately to hear it. Thanks for putting it out there and solidifying the fact that I'm gonna be buying Punk Rock Jesus in trade.

    As for anything else from this week - probably just Hellboy when the next oversized hardcover comes out.

    I think it's a BPRD Plague of Frogs/BPRD Hell on Earth kinda thing where the story is continuing with a different name...ish

    that said I'm now 20 volumes behind 20th Century Boys so who knows...
