I'm willing to bet Richard Littler of Scarfolk is also Richard Horton of those creepy diagnostic tests and that cute story about it. If not, those two should collaborate. I like where these folks are going.
Science guys meet dead things. (I keep seeing these science guys around and keep not investigating them. I like them, though.) I can't remember if I linked the Ask A Mortician lady on here, either, but there's more dead things for ya.
The issue with the Harlem Shake videos is that they're not supposed to be the Harlem Shake. They're only called that because the track they're spazzing out to is called Harlem Shake, and is so called because it has a sample that goes "and now do the Harlem Shake." Only the people who started the meme (and those who continued it) decided not to do the actual Harlem Shake and instead just spaz out because it's funnier and/or they don't know what the fuck Harlem Shake actually is.
In any case, I'm not trying to excuse the meme, but wanted to point out that they're only called Harlem Shake because of the track title. Though I only know that because I had to google the meme because when I first saw it bc I couldn't figure out why the fuck those videos were called Harlem Shake since no one in them was actually doing the Harlem Shake.
I do think that as a meme that is entirely unrelated to the actual Harlem Shake, the videos are funny, it's just unfortunate that the track is called Harlem Shake because now it's become an appropriation of a cultural dance move.
