See, the least believable thing in that old story wasn't the throw puppy or the bulldozer. It was the fact that this off-his-meds, in-his-underwear dude managed to escape to his house through hitchhiking.

It's Germany where FKK is king. The only eyebrow he would have raised would be he was still wearing pants.

Man, I cannot wait until low-income/low-skill workers start flipping out all the time, and exploiting all their casual access to huge machinery.

    'Plaza de Joe Strummer'
Punk rocker Joe Strummer is to have a city square named after him in Spain following a Facebook campaign.
More than 2,000 residents of Granada, where The Clash frontman became a frequent visitor, signed a petition calling for him to be honoured.
City hall officials agreed to the proposals and a square in the area is to be renamed Plaza de Joe Strummer.

This sort of makes me proud to be British, and also reminds me of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ...

As someone who rarely just shuts the fuck up, this is a pretty good article about this facet of Finnish culture. Also, someone said that translating "olla omissa oloissaan" to English is quite hard. And expression of being alone and with ones' thoughts, but in a positive and peaceful way.

'“It is difficult to explain concepts such as 'positive' and 'active' silence to foreigners,” muses Michael Berry.'

Westboro Baptist Is Officially Terrified Of Anonymous

Westboro has never backed down from anything to our knowledge, but they recently pulled out of their planned picket of Reddit co-founder and Internet activist Aaron Swartz’s funeral. Why? Because Anonymous apparently threatened them, and after causing them all sorts of “financial difficulties,” WBC apparently listened.
