Also a thing I love about the Crossed series is how it shows that the Crossed infected, how that state of being destroys them. They don't wash, they care for nothing save destruction and their own gratification. Also, the game keeper is supposed to be the main reason the group was still surviving. However, what has he actually done which has proven useful to he group? Was his presence a net gain for the other survivors? He's a reckless rapist who has done nothing to demonstrate his superior ability to protect against the crossed. He has demonstrated himself to be cruel and willing to kill or harm fellow survivors to forward his own cause. He's not the only one in the party with a gun... Why hasn't he been blown away and left for the crossed?
