I know I'm not on here much anymore; I think I go through phases where I don't feel like I fit in here on the board, and w/ the activity level here having died down a lot, I think it's an extended phase. BUT, if there's one thing about about Whitechapel I'll always love, it's the Skype Nights. And it's been a while since the last one... ~~September, I think?~~ December is still a while.
I'm opening up a new thread, since I think a lot of people might skip over the Chatroom thread, since that's a pretty small group stationed there. I'd like to get an idea of when the best day would be to have another Skype Night, a big ol' shindig of a chat. So let me know: best general days of the week, or if you know you have a completely free day in the near future of which you could devote a few hours to bring silly. And if you've never been in one of our Skype chats before, I REALLY WANNA HEAR FROM YOU- the more the merrier (unless there's, like, 30 of us at one time; that sounds like a total disaster actually).
I do have some activities in mind, and I'll throw some ideas out once I can get an idea of if this'll actually get off the ground.

If you've made it to a Skype night before, or if you've read about them, you know the dramatic readings are now kind of a tradition. This time, I think it'd be cool if we had a piece picked out before hand to do a monologue. Entirely optional, mind; I don't want to make this a chore. But if you have something you'd like to read- some lyrics, a weird poem, a nice dramatic monologue that would be hilarious when done in a funny voice- make sure you have it w/ you Monday. It'll be like a little poetry slam.

@littlepurplegoth and anyone else wanting to join for the first time: my Skype name is ichbinbrittanica, so go ahead and add me a as a friend. I'll be the one starting the call, and I'll probably start fairly early. If there's enough interest, I might even try to break Andre's record of 10 hours! But jump on whenever you can, I'm the only one here that has to be insane about this.

Regarding time: usually these things start around 6pm Central Standard Time (GMT-6), but taking our European folks into consideration, I should probably start earlier. If anyone's better at understanding time zones than I am, feel free to tell me the best time to start. Thinking about it makes my brain hurt a little.

Also, I'm looking into recording options. Anyone who's more experienced in recording Skype calls may also feel free to jump in and take over/ tell me what I should do. I think I should be able to get Audacity to work, but you never know.
