If you look closely the X is clearly visible under the stream of blood.

I had thought it was blood but deffo think there is an X there.

    Well, bugger me.
Jesus, I must be going both colourblind and dyslexic in my auld age.

The "X" is indeed there. We had some last-minute art correx for this page which meant we had to prevail upon the colourist do provide the cross rather than the inker, but - yeah. For the avoidance of conspiracy theories, the X is indeed there.

Aye, that's where my comparison fell down, Si. Volume 1 had the X in inks. It wasn't until I actually leaned forward (reading your comics in a slouched position to avoid falling off my chair) that I noticed the change in colouration.
Broke my own rule of double-check everything before posting know-all comments on the interwebs.

Is it weird when I saw Selene stapling herself that I immediately thought of my friend and I daring each other to staple each other's foreheads as kids? I guess it means that I found the ending slightly more humorous then normal heh.

Just when you start to think, wow, Shaky is kinda jerk the Crossed show up to remind us that hey at least our survivors are HUMAN.

My own (worst) theory is the virus has mutated into something that makes the Crossed even more impervious to infection/disease, making them the next evolutionary step after humanity, and the Nun is the first (second after the GK?), and THAT'S why she's a Messiah to the Crossed.

"when I saw Selene stapling herself..."

That's not Selene, unless the Crossed fever burnt off a hundred pounds (sorry!)

I'm curious who the bloke in the cape with the beard is. He was in the background of the orgy but I remember seeing him earlier... I think on the boat, flipping through volume 1 right now to see where I remember him from.

Ah...V2Ch1 is where he pops up.

Ah right, yeah I really ballsed that up. God how could I get the nun theresha (cannot spell her name to save myself) confused with selene. Ah its been a while. Hey maybe that'll be the big twist next chapter, when she reveals that she only attacks Eden because she ran outta staples :D

The person in the 'Doomsday' costume is Crossed as confirmed in an earlier thread but his/her identity is unknown so could be the GK. Will whoever it is be scarred with a X too? earlier

The whole bit with the nun reminds me of something Harrison Ford did. Go to about the 38 second mark.

Even with the mission being a relative success. If the "Cava-ites" are still there, Shaky's going to be due some reckoning. As much as Rab and Don don't get along, they do talk and Shaky's done a lot to put himself on both of their shitlists. Especially if Jasper actually made it back to the island, can't have someone leaving notes all over the countryside telling people where they're at. Wouldn't be surprised to see Shaky voted off the island.
